Tourism Silvaplana

Silvaplana lies at 1815 metres above sea level in the heart of the Upper Engadin lake district. The village at the foot of the local mountain Corvatsch with its three hamlets of Silvaplana, Champfèr and Surlej offers a varied hotel and catering scene as well as a wide range of sports and activities in summer and winter. Windsurfers and kitesurfers will find excellent conditions on Lake Silvaplana thanks to the reliable Maloja wind. Skiers, mountain bikers and hiking enthusiasts can enjoy wonderful pistes, trails and panoramic paths as well as ancient Roman mule tracks. Silvaplana is the venue for many popular sporting events such as the "Engadinwind", "Engadin Bike Giro" and "Engadin Swimrun".
