About Culinarium Alpinum
The Culinarium Alpinum in the former Capuchin monastery in Stans/NW, which dates back to the 16th century, focuses on the "culinary heritage of the Alps". The extraordinary restaurant, hotel and conference centre is characterised by several special features. One of these is the "edible landscape", which was designed in collaboration with Fructus and Pro Specia Rara and surrounds the monastery building. The hotel has 14 stylishly renovated rooms with high-quality, monastic simplicity, mountain views and a focus on sustainability. The gastronomic offer focuses on regional authenticity and quality. Thanks to its modern seminar rooms in various sizes, the Culinarium Alpinum is also ideal as a conference or event venue. The rooms (including the monastery hall and school kitchen) are suitable for groups of between a few and 150 people. The hotel and catering business is run by Peter Durrer.
