Park Igls Medical Spa Resort

The Park Igls Medical Spa Resort in Igls, above Innsbruck, opened in 1993 and has become one of Europe's leading health centres, receiving various prestigious awards. It combines modern university medicine and diagnostics with the principles of Mayr medicine according to Dr. F. X. Mayr. The focus is on prevention, targeted health programmes and a contemporary form of Mayr therapy that encompasses nutrition, exercise and mental balance. Guests use the services primarily for preventive medical examinations, weight control, burnout prevention and women-specific programmes such as ‘Meno-Chance’ or therapies for mobility, muscle and joint health. The managing director, Andrea Gnägi, is a native of Zurich and has been running the company since 2009.
