Swiss Travel Fund (Reka)

The Bern-based cooperative Reka has been setting the standard in promoting sustainable tourism and economic development for over 80 years. In collaboration with partners such as employers, employee organisations and Coop, Reka offers discounted, purpose-specific payment methods such as Reka-Pay, Reka-Lunch and Reka-Rail+. These offers are aimed at a broad customer base and promote access to leisure and transport services.

Within the Reka-Ferien division, Reka manages and promotes holiday resorts specifically tailored to the needs of families. Through its commitment, Reka makes a significant contribution to strengthening tourism in economically disadvantaged regions of Switzerland. Particularly noteworthy is Reka’s exemplary track record in sustainability within the industry. The Reka Holiday Assistance Foundation offers single parents and families affected by poverty a week’s holiday in Switzerland for 200 Swiss francs.
